SOURCES
The sun is the main energy
sources. It produces wind, rain, and biomass. Others sources are waste products
with embodied energy.
PRODUCTIVITY
Permaculture systems should
produce for their own needs and the needs of people creating or controlling
them.
BUDGET
The energy required for
construction and maintenance must be less than the energy it is able to
produce, store or conserve.
LONGEVITY
It should last as long as
possible and take least maintenance.
MINIMIZE INPUTS
Through careful and protracted
observation prior to action, then make the least change for the greatest
possible effect.
CONSERVATION
Work where it counts, and don’t
waste energy on unproductive work.
Use observation and natural
cycles, energy and processes to lessen your establishment inputs.
