PDC LESSON 1.10 PRINCIPLES OF EDGE EFFECTS

Identify, create, and utilise edges.

The edge between two ecosystems (ecotone) usually contains a higher diversity of species than either „overlapping” ecosystems. The gross photosynthetic production is also higher at such interfaces. By following this pattern and increasing the edges within our system we can increase the amount of photosynthetic production and therefor yield.

Most creativity and originality comes from the edges of society, then is consumed by the masses.
