PDC LESSON 1.16 POSITIVY PRINCIPLES
The problem is the
solution, everything works both ways.
“It is only how we
see things that make them advantageous or not (if a wind blows cold, let us use
both its strength and its coolness to advantage). A corollary of this principle
is that everything is a positive resource: It is just up to us to work out how
we may use it as much.
If you have a heat
pump for your hot water, direct the cool air into the house. Don’t see weeds as
a problem – they are often indicators of soil nutrients and can be used for
many purposes including mulch / compost and for food for gazing animals. On a
smaller scale many weeds can be thrown to the chooks.
If your life treats
problems as elements you need to incorporate into your design and try to see
“the positive side” of such situations.
Everything is a
positive resource; it is just up to us to work out how we may use it as such.
