PDC LESSON 2.1 DESIGN - A DAM
Some of the functions of these systems are as follows:
A dam can supply you with water for the gardens and a breeze from the right direction will cool the air around it. Can this be utilised to give you cooler breezes on hot summer days? Water attracts life and this would encourage frogs to populate the gardens areas where they will find an abundant supply of food, ie. insect pests! A larger dam can also create glare; does it need to be screened out from your favourite viewpoint?
