PDC LESSON 5.1 WATERING SAVE WATER - MOST IRRIGATION ARE WRONG

When water there will be short in some times when there are water restrictions.

There it will come probably to restrictions on so use the best SUBSURFACE DRIP SYSTEM what you can get to safe 50 % water, liquid fertilizer and energy.

Watering your farm by hose uses 150 to 300 litres of water per hour on 100 m line.

This depends on our T-Tape type of drip line. We only need 0,8 bar until 150 m length.

A sprinkler can use up to 1500 litres of water per hour but need high pressure pump 5 bar. Clearly an enormous volume of water is used by most gardeners to maintain a healthy garden. So, this is absolute out as petrol and energy prices rise high now.

The problem is that over 50% of this water can be wasted, Because of water run off to areas where it is not needed by plants and through evaporation.

On normal cheap drip lines, you need to watering only in the early morning or in the late afternoon to avoid evaporation.

With our SSDR System direct to the roots you can watering all daytimes.

A Best system is a our SUBSURFACE DRIP SYSTEM which will deliver water straight to the roots thus avoiding surface evaporation. This is capillary action and will encourage deep rooting in plants. Deep roots brings most fruits. I wish that you do understand this ?

Most watering only wets the surface layer of soil and this process promotes shallow roots and spindly plant growth.  By injecting water to the roots of your plants, not only does this save you water and enery  = money on 50%; it also encourages stronger, deeper root growth and healthier plants.

Additional benefits of the watering probe is that it waters the roots of your plants so you will now be able to: grow plants on slopes where surface watering would normally run off without wetting the soil

grow plants in paving where there is not enough soil surface area for an adequate supply of water to penetrat

reduce black spot by watering the roots, not the foliage of plants such as roses, tomatoes, azaleas etc.

The Watering Probe is also great for getting water into through compost heaps.
